The Center for Police Leadership and Ethics’ flagship initiative is the North Star Executive Leadership Program. North Star is a residential experience held at hotel/conference centers and university settings around the United States preceded by several modules of online learning at your own pace.

The innovative blended learning format allows students to begin immersing themselves in leadership concepts prior to the residency, which affords more time for experiential learning and relationship building during the residency.

The Executive Leadership courses with a Green Color Ribbon and “MAGNUS CENTURION” insignia is a blended, 4-week self-paced on-line and 4 weeks residency with a Capstone course, focuses on leadership and ethics, contemporary issues/challenges in the policing community, wellness/mindfulness/fitness, and a specialization course of the student’s choosing (e.g. ethical decision-making, constitutional law).

The faculty is comprised of seasoned educators with graduate or doctoral degrees and substantial experience in the policing field. While American agencies fill the majority of events, members of the international law enforcement community represent a critical component of the North Star program.

The course graduates will receive a North Star Certificate of Completion form the Center for Police Leadership and Ethics International and a National Command & Staff College diploma and a MAGNUS GLADIO Neck or Chest Red color Ribbon Medallion.

With this, the graduates become a member of the MAGNUS GLADIO Network for enhanced networking and future re-training and development.
