"The Developing Leader" of the National Command College for Law Enforcement provides access to 5 Weeks of Online & Self-paced of the Institute for Credible Leadership Development (ICLD I-IV) Educational System. The certificate of completion for this program will be awarded by the National Command & Staff College.
ICLD I is the first leg of an educational journey designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to leadership, ethics, character, supervision, communication and self-development. It also serves as a complete review for students who have participated in leadership education programs previously.
ICLD II is the second leg of your comprehensive journey through leadership education. It is designed to build on the curriculum of ICLD I and raise participants level of organizational thought and team-building by focusing on theories and practices of organizational leaders from both private and public sectors who have made monumental changes within their organizations.
ICLD III builds on ICLD I & II by addressing the balance of humanistic and tactical approaches to law enforcement leadership. It focuses on understanding the human factors of police leadership and how if used effectively, it can change the internal culture and external perception of an organization.
ICLD IV is your opportunity to understand and perform the complex knowledge, skills and tasks that exemplary leaders perform. The content of was researched and field tested for over a period of more than 30 years in university and justice and public safety environments including police, corrections, customs, immigration, homeland security and private security.
